SNAP

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (aka: Food Stamps) is a federal/state assistance program to help provide those with low income with assistance of feeding the household (1+ people). Because of my expenses, and my rent being higher than would be expected, I recieve a significant amount for SNAP. In my case, SNAP covers all of my food needs. The benefits comes around the 12th of the month. Since my SNAP is more than my food budget, I don’t count either my food expenses, nor SNAP benefits when I do my budget.
