Unfortunately, there is no bank branch that is in the city of Pittsburgh. It would be nice, but there isn’t. The closest branch is in the North Hills which is a 45 minute bus ride to go there, and 45 minutes to return. There is also the time of waiting for the bus. If I have cash, I will always use the cash first to reduce the discretionary card that I have. This reduces the need to deposit money into the bank account. It also reduces the need to use my debit card to pull money out. If there was a local branch, then I would likely use that branch.
